Each year we produce approximately 1400 torches for our torchlit procession.

 

Wood is obtained by approved coppicing from local woodlands by our members, who meet periodically from January to late Spring. 

 

We assist the Ashplats Conservation Group at many of these meetings.

 

We have to ensure that enough torches are produced not only for our members but also members attending from other Bonfire Societies.
